The Machine Operator on the 3rd shift is responsible for monitoring print and seam quality, removing defective materials, and managing rolls to prevent damage at a leading premium label manufacturer. This role requires basic arithmetic skills, a capacity to use simple Windows applications, and the ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds. Training is provided on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift, with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on diversity and inclusion within the company.

We are currently looking for a Turret Rewinder/Machine Operator to join our team. Experience is not required but always a plus.
Why work at MCC:
- Compensation: Base hourly rate plus a $1.50 shift differential once you are trained and being working on 3rd shift.
- Schedule: 3rd Sunday through Thursday 9:45 PM – 6:00 AM. (Could be considered for other shifts should they become available.
- Training: Will be done on 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 5:45AM – 2:00 PM for about 2 weeks until ready to transition to assigned shift, must be ok with this.

Responsibilities:
- Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
- Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
- Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
- Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
- Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
- Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
- The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
