Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Aerospace Patrol in De Leon Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service to clients and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate conflict resolution skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the location, adapting responses as necessary to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
At least two years of security-related experience are required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
