Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in Phoenix, Arizona, that has an opening for a Medical Oncologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
• Backup weekend call shifts required
• Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient
• Duties: Diagnosing and evaluating new patients, ordering and managing chemotherapy and treatment, reading diagnostic imaging, overseeing infusions, and inpatient rounding
• Participation in tumor boards is required
• Support Staff: NPs, MAs, RNs, program coordinators, infusion schedulers, referral and authorization coordinators
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
