Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is expanding its team! Our facility currently includes three Psychiatrists and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The nearest alternative care option is 20 miles away and does not accept court-ordered patients. We are seeking BE/BC physicians who are either practicing or in residency. Waiver support is available. The adult behavioral health unit is located one mile from our main hospital campus, while the nearest child/adolescent unit is in St. Louis, MO, approximately 2.5 hours from Poplar Bluff, MO. This position will involve all inpatient care. Poplar Bluff is situated in southern Missouri, about 2.5 hours from St. Louis. The city has a population of 33,000 and serves an area with over 125,000 residents. The area is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as High Performers for COPD care.
