Pediatric Infusion Nurse
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleAM Shift - 7.5 hours, with no weekends or federal holidays.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Pediatric Infusion Nurse to join our team. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Hematology and Oncology cases, primarily handling pediatric patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an infusion setting.
- Float to Pediatric Infusion as needed, managing a patient ratio of 1:10.
- Administer chemotherapy and other treatment protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and care processes.
- 2-3 years of Oncology/Infusion experience.
- Must hold APHON Certification.
- Experience in Pediatric Infusion/Oncology is essential.
