A Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist provides inpatient care in an acute hospital setting in New Mexico, managing approximately 80-100 patients daily with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and lumbar puncture. The position involves rotating shifts, including day (7a-7p), night (7p-7a), and possible swing shifts, supported by a clinical team of providers and advanced practice providers. The role requires an active New Mexico medical license, ACLS certification, and experience with Cerner EMR systems.
