A Gastroenterology Physician provides specialized care for adult patients with gastrointestinal conditions in a rural, high-acuity setting. Responsibilities include performing routine GI procedures such as EGD and colonoscopies, managing an average of 25 patients per day, and working with a support team including nurse practitioners. This position requires board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, active medical licensure, and proficiency with EMR systems, offered on a 12-month contract basis with rotating schedules.

- 7a-7p, 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off
Clinical Details
- Consult volume vary with patient census averaging 25 patients
- Rural population with high acuity GI service division. Multiple pathology. Adult 18 and above
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active WV License
- DEA, ACLS
- Special procedures: EGD Colon non-advanced procedures
- Skills required: routine GI
