- Two 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- One 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Setting: Acute Care / Telemetry
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Monitor Technician for a contract assignment in an acute care setting. The Tele Tech is responsible for continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and providing immediate notification to nursing staff and clinicians of any rhythm changes, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform continuous, high-level monitoring of patient cardiac rhythms
- Identify, interpret, and document heart rhythms and interval measurements per department standards
- Promptly notify nursing staff or providers of any rate or rhythm changes according to orders
- Collect data necessary for telemetry placement and initiate or discontinue monitoring upon admission, transfer, or discharge
- Perform ectopy checks twice per shift
- Conduct daily telemetry box maintenance
- Perform EKG procedures as assigned
- Answer phones and communicate clearly and effectively with unit staff and providers
- Maintain accurate telemetry charging and chart documentation
- Ensure monitoring equipment is properly configured and functioning
- Deliver care with professionalism while supporting positive patient and family experiences
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience monitoring ECG/dysrhythmias in a hospital, clinic, physician office, or similar setting
- Successful completion of a Dysrhythmia and EKG course/exam prior to completing orientation
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work under moderate pressure for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for accuracy and response times
- Clear, concise verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships with clinical staff and the public
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting
- Frequent use of hands for handling equipment and controls
- Ability to reach with arms and legs as required for equipment operation
- State license not required
- Timecards must be completed accurately to ensure timely processing
