Key Job Details – Med/Surg RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Albany, GA 31701 (Georgia nursing jobs)
• Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Travel Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care, Med/Surg Labor Pool
• Assignment Length: 17 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (0645 start time)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Charting System: MEDITECH 6.1
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue

Med/Surg RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state (Georgia RN jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience and 1 prior travel nurse assignment,
  or 4 years of Med/Surg experience without travel
• BLS certification required
• ASLS or NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to float to various clinical units as needed
• Flexibility with changing assignments during shifts
• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to diverse populations in the Med/Surg labor pool
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including CNAs, RTs, and pharmacy staff
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using MEDITECH
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as required
• Participate in rotating holiday and weekend schedules
• Adapt to changing patient assignments and unit needs throughout your shift
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
