A Cardiology Physician is sought to join a group in Prescott Valley, AZ, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to primarily patients aged 55 and older, with responsibilities including diagnostics, procedures, and treatment planning. The role involves a balanced schedule of clinic days and hospital call duties, performing specialized procedures such as pacemaker implants and heart catheterizations. Dignity Health Medical Group has an exceptional General Cardiology Opportunity in Prescott Valley, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ).
- Join a group of 3 providers.
- Patient Population: 55+
- Project volumes: 20 patients daily seen face to face in the clinic.
- Call: Cardiologists share call and typically are on call one day a week with one full weekend a month. Each cardiologist covers 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday a year on a rotating basis.
- Typical work week: 3 to 4 full clinic days with 1 to 2 days clinic and call with hospital or procedures at the hospital. Clinic hours are 8-5 M-F.
- Procedures: TEE, Cardioversions, Pacemaker implants, heart catheterizations.
- Additional practice details: The office also specializes in Congestive heart failure and is the only cardiology office in the area that does.
Job Requirements
- Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology from ACGME- approved programs
- Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology)
- Valid state medical license (MD or DO)
- Valid DEA certificate
- Open to new graduates and experienced cardiologists
