Our client, a world leader in providing integrated building technologies and services,, is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to join their team. As a Manufacturing Lead, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly, inspection, and testing of magnetic bearings and related products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Lead

Location: Salem, VA

Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour

Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

  • Provide hands-on training, supervision, and leadership for assembly, inspection, and testing processes.
  • Guide and support production technicians, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to procedures and schedules.
  • Monitor daily activities, track output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet production goals.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment needs, and staffing to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while complying with safety and quality policies.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a light industrial setting.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
