Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Charleston, SC 29407
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2100
• On-Call: No
• Weekend Requirement: No
• Floating: Possible to similar units
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 procedure rooms)

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state (must be active by start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system required
• Radiation badge (provided by agency)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to complete pre-employment compliance and orientation modules

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with cardiac implant closure devices, diagnostic caths, right heart cath, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, baseline measurements, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer emergency medications as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
• Float to similar nursing units as needed
• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required
