The role focuses on direct patient care, including clinic consultations and surgical procedures, for a broad range of gastroenterology cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver direct patient care, comprising approximately 90 percent of work duties
- Provide clinical gastroenterology services in both clinic and surgical settings
- Arrive promptly for scheduled clinics and surgeries
- Offer consultative services at the bedside for non-ambulatory patients and in the clinic for ambulatory patients
- Schedule and complete procedures within 30 days of consult requests
Additional Information
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gastroenterology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Any valid state medical license accepted
- Assignment duration and start date dependent on contract award and credentialing
