Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with call and weekend rotation
• On-call responsibilities after 9:00 PM and on weekends only
• Holiday requirements include on-call coverage only
• Perform 10-15 scans per day depending on hours worked
• Conduct all types of ultrasound studies including vascular, OB (all three trimesters), and procedures
• Echo experience preferred but not required
• Must have experience with general ultrasound, OB, and vascular imaging
• Work with 4 Toshiba ultrasound units (facility purchasing 2 new Phillips units)
• Use EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS systems for documentation
• No floating to other departments required
• No IV start responsibilities
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) via CCI
• Must live within 60-mile radius and submit driver's license
• Week of orientation required with in-state presence
• No specific scrub color requirements
• Interview process includes profile review and unit manager interview
Facility:
This acute care hospital operates as a Level 3 trauma center with a comprehensive radiology department featuring 4 ultrasound scanning rooms. The facility maintains modern imaging equipment and is actively investing in new technology with planned Phillips unit acquisitions. The organization uses advanced electronic medical record systems and provides specialized imaging services including vascular, obstetric, and general ultrasound procedures with radiologist coverage three days per week.
