Job DescriptionThe Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. RNs must be flexible and ready to adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit and patient population.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department.
- Perform assessments and interventions as per the emergency protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required; TNCC must be in the submission packet or proof of completion is required prior to start.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing is preferred.
- Prior travel experience is required, especially in larger teaching facilities.
- EPIC experience from the past 2 years is mandatory.
