Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Surgery department (Operating Room) of a hospital setting
• Typical cases handled in the OR/surgery environment
• Scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Thirteen-week contract assignment
• References required: one professional reference for Texas placements
• Documentation must include application, skills checklist, references, license verification, and copies of certifications
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding
• Holiday and weekend coverage expectations will be communicated prior to assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
