General Surgery Locum Opportunity - Durango, CO

August 10th - 14th - URGENT

Job Description:

• Shift times: 6a-6a
• Frequency: 1 weekend (4 days over a weekend) per month or 5 weeks depending on the schedule.
• Assignment: All general surgery coverage needs are 24 hour call only - no clinic- will cover any inpatients that have not been discharged.
• Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center, SW Colorado.
• FTE: 0.6
• Duties: Cover ER, inpatients and any practice issues that need to be addressed on the days the provider is on service - go to the OR for trauma/gen surg cases as indicated.
• Required Procedures: Basic call and trauma cases.
• PPD: Varies
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: Nurses, OR staff as needed.
• Worksite Resources: "Typical"
• Reason for coverage: Need weekend coverage at above frequency to give current surgeons help.

Required:
