Join a nationally ranked pediatric heart program with hands-on in-house cardiac anesthesia training and $590k+ total comp. Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist, full-time, primarily OR-based cardiac practice at a Top-50 children’s hospital in Oklahoma City; ongoing $300M expansion and new 90-bed Heart Tower; role covers ~100% pediatric cardiac cases, annual ~265 pump cases; permanent position. - MD/DO with pediatric anesthesiology training - Pediatric cardiac fellowship NOT required (in-house training provided) - Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology - Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain) - Experience with pediatric airway/vascular management preferred

This nationally recognized program is ranked among the Top 50 Best Children‘s Hospitals for Pediatric Cardiology & Heart Surgery. With >500 pediatric heart surgeries each year, the Heart Center delivers exceptional outcomes including a 98.8% open-heart surgery survival rate that exceeds national averages.

• Cardiac fellowship not required. Unique opportunity for pediatric anesthesiologists to complete in-house cardiac anesthesia training, gaining hands-on experience.
• $300MM expansion underway! A new 90-bed standalone Pediatric Heart Tower will include 2 ORs, 2 cath labs, MRI, CT, a cardiac NICU, and an adult congenital unit.
• Collaborative, academic environment with 22 pediatric cardiologists including 2 CT surgeons, 3 interventionalists, 1 EP, and 1 AHFTC
• Current team of 3 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, 4 dedicated CRNAs, and 90 specialized nurses with plans to grow to 5 anesthesiologists
• Annual volume of ~265 pump cases
