Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Charge RN for a Med/Surg unit in Missouri requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is for a Charge RN on the Medical/Surgical unit (3 North)
• Hospital setting caring for medical-surgical adult patients
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Serve as Charge RN, overseeing the Med/Surg unit and providing leadership to staff
• Charge nurses are responsible for patient care coordination and unit flow management
• Typical patient population includes adults with a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Must be prepared to support the team and respond to changing unit needs

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
