The Shopify Website Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the ecommerce website for a consumer brand in the gaming and sports industry, focusing on performance, storytelling, and user experience. The role requires hands-on experience with Shopify, ecommerce workflows, SEO strategy, analytics, and content management to drive conversions and maintain site functionality. Collaboration with marketing, creative, inventory, and technical teams is essential to ensure continuous site improvements and successful product launches.

Website Manager Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary range: $70,000–$95,000, based on experience

Website Manager Requirements & Qualifications
Must haves:
- 3+ years of experience managing an ecommerce website end to end
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and modern ecommerce workflows
- Strong understanding of website analytics, conversion optimization, and performance metrics
- Experience managing SEO strategy and executing improvements based on data
- Proven ability to maintain and update homepage, product pages, and promotional content
- Experience managing product lifecycle on a website including launches, featured items, and pre-releases
- Strong attention to detail across product data including descriptions, pricing, metadata, and categorization
- Ability to test, troubleshoot, and resolve site functionality issues across browsers and devices
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with marketing, creative, inventory, and technical teams
Website Manager Preferred Background & Skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in consumer goods, ecommerce retail, or collector-focused categories
- Familiarity with headless ecommerce setups and inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO tools
- Strong eye for design and user behavior with a practical, results-driven mindset
- Experience coordinating creative assets such as banners and homepage refreshes
- Background in collectibles, trading cards, or hobby-driven ecommerce environments
