POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Maintain good customer relations; interact with customers in a pleasant but professional manner.
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow proper etiquette guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, cafeteria and food stations.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of previous work history/education required
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Good guest service skills with the public; previous guest service experience preferred
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Speak and understand basic English
• Intermediate skiing/riding ability required for certain locations
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's Service Excellence standards
• Must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range:

Barista: $15.50-$16.50 per hour plus tips

Busser / Food Runner: $12.14-$13.14 per hour plus tips

Host: $14.39 -$15.39 per hour plus tips

Attendant / Cashier / Snow Removal: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 35-40 pounds on a regular basis
