This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible hospitalist physician to provide adult and geriatric inpatient care at a 260-bed non-profit tertiary care hospital in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. Candidates will work collaboratively within an established hospital medicine team, utilizing EMR systems and participating in academic teaching opportunities within an accredited Osteopathic GME program. Flexible scheduling accommodates clinical care, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development in a supportive environment.
Hospitalist - Finger Lakes Region of New York O ngoing sporadic coverage Must have active NY license Will accept new graduates who are board eligible Adult and Geriatric population PPD: Depends on the # of hospitalists, they like to have 15-16 at the beginning of the shift; At least 3-4 non-teaching hospitalists are present 7A - 7P; ICU patients will be included in the average census at the beginning of the shift. They also have an admitter, they will call for help if needed from 7A - 3P; They do not use locums for admissions or night shift or mid-shift; 23 ICU beds EMR: Quadramed (inpatient) Facility can credential in 1-2 weeks. Located in the beautiful NY Finger Lakes Region, is currently interviewing BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join its established Hospital Medicine group at Medical Center, a 260-bed non-profit tertiary care hospital located in Upstate NY. The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a commitment to collaborative care in a team environment. Our accredited Osteopathic GME program with a full complement of residencies and fellowships, provides significant opportunity to participate in the academic teaching track. Flexible scheduling allows our providers ample time to engage in clinical care, quality improvement and professional /personal development.
