We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity offers weekday, daytime shifts with no weekends or on-call coverage. The physician will provide daytime interventional radiology coverage and possible diagnostic reading.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM; no weekends or on call
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide interventional radiology coverage for daytime procedures and diagnostic reading as needed
- Perform a wide range of IR procedures, including:
- Ultrasound-guided liver, lymph node, neck, paracentesis, prostate, renal, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies
- CT-guided bone biopsy, drainage, lung biopsy, retroperitoneal biopsy
- Bone marrow biopsy
- Gastrojejunostomy tube exchanges
- Gallbladder drain placement
- IVC filter placement
- Lumbar puncture
- Nasogastric tube placement
- Nephrostomy tube placement and exchanges
- PICC line placement
- Tunneled dialysis catheter placement
- Tunneled pleurx catheter (chest and abdominal)
- Cases where proficiency is preferred, but not required:
- Lung and renal ablations
- AAA endovascular stents
- Renal vascular stents
- Embolizations
- IVC filter removals
- Percutaneous gastrostomy tubes
- Document cases and note procedural proficiencies
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure quality patient care
Additional Information
- Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Open to physicians needing to obtain a Pennsylvania state license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology
