Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Charge Nurse on night shift in the Emergency Department, requiring an active CA RN license and prior charge experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Position serves as Charge Nurse on night shifts
- Shift is 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsible for leading and supervising the ER team during assigned shifts
- Night shift position only—candidates must be able and willing to work nights
- Housing resources are available for travelers upon request
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience
- Prior charge nurse experience in the Emergency Department required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proof of a negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
