Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring Arizona or compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital PACU with 6 preop bays, 8 PACU bays, and 4 Phase II bays
• Cares for all age groups from pediatric to geriatric
• Teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts per week from 18:00 to 06:30 including weekends
• No on-call requirements
• Required to float to Ambulatory Surgical Center within hospital premises
• EMR system Cerner is used with prior experience preferred
• Blocked scheduling is available
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Scrubs are provided for PACU RNs
• Free parking is available on site
• All employees are required to adhere to medication administration and patient safety standards
• Time off requests require unit manager approval

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CPAN certification preferred
• Experience with all age groups preferred
