This locum tenens position seeks a board-certified neurosurgeon with an endovascular fellowship to provide 24/7 coverage at a Comprehensive Stroke Center in Tennessee. The role involves performing endovascular neurointerventions such as thrombectomies and aneurysm repairs, documenting operative notes, and conducting postoperative follow-ups in an acute care setting. Compensation includes on-call and callback hourly rates, with support from a multidisciplinary inpatient and interventional team.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon with a fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery to provide ongoing locum coverage for a Comprehensive Stroke Center in Tennessee.
Position OverviewSpecialty: Neurosurgery Endovascular
Setting: Acute Care / Inpatient / Interventional Neurology Lab / OR
Schedule: Ongoing 24/7 coverage (days per month TBD)
Start Date: ASAP (credentialing required)
Duties: Endovascular Neurointerventions, operative notes, postoperative follow-up
Required Procedures: Endovascular neuro procedures, thrombectomies, aneurysm repair
EMR: Epic
Support Staff:
Inpatient: 24/7 APP support
Interventional Lab: RN + RT trained in Endovascular Neuro cases
OR: Standard OR team (RN, Surgical Tech, etc.)
24-Hour On-Call Rate: $4,000 (includes 4 hours gratis)
24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: $5,000 (includes 4 hours gratis)
Callback Rate: $300/hour (after gratis hours)
Holiday Callback Rate: $500/hour (after gratis hours)
Orientation/Training: $150/hour (after first 8 hours)

Lodging: Up to 1.5 GSA rate
