Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with LTACH and ICU or Med Surg experience and a KY or compact license for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Med Surg/ICU unit of a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Patient ratio is 1:4
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
- Rotating weekly schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions are provided
- Travel pairs are not permitted
- No local candidates will be considered per the 100-mile radius rule
- Candidates cannot be submitted to more than one job at a time
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent LTACH experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required (AHA only)
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
