American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and an active KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital operating room setting
- Day shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Patient population consists of surgical patients in an acute care setting
- No local travelers will be accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates must wear attire in accordance with the operating room dress code
- All RNs are required to complete orientation and any necessary facility training modules
- Team-based environment with collaboration among surgical staff
- Active KY or compact RN license is required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification required and must not expire during assignment
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- CPI training is required for all RNs and may be completed onsite
- Candidates must provide a valid US Social Security Number
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19
- No adverse actions (“HITS”) on nursing license will be accepted
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
