Mandatory Job Requirements:
- Residency: Successful completion of an approved ACGME or AOA-accredited postgraduate training program in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of current experience in an Emergency Department with a pediatric services annual census of 10,000 patients or greater.
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine.
- Life Certifications:
- ATLS Certification required.
- CME: Completion of 24 months of Continuing Medical Education.
- Ultrasound Training: Completion of an on-site training course with a minimum of 16 hours of CME.
- Case Logs: Documentation of 24 months of case logs.
- CV Requirements: Must have Work and Hospital affiliations listed separately, with Month/Year format.
Certification Requirements:
- ATLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- DEA License
- PALS Certification
