Non-Operative Sports Medicine Physician OpportunityLocation: Fergus Falls, MNBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Sports Medicine PhysicianPosition Overview:A board-certified or board-eligible Sports Medicine Physician with a focus on non-operative care is sought to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about helping active individuals optimize performance and recovery without surgical intervention. The position is within a well-established orthopedic practice with orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers, offering excellent opportunities to further develop the sports medicine program.Responsibilities:•Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditions•Develop individualized, non-surgical treatment plans (e.g., physical therapy, bracing, injections)•Perform ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g., corticosteroid, PRP injections)•Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providers•Provide optional sideline coverage and support for local athletic events•Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimizationQualifications:•MD or DO from an accredited institution•Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics•Fellowship training in Sports Medicine (ABMS-recognized)•Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferred•Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA (or ability to obtain)•Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively•EMR: EPICCompensation & Benefits:•Competitive compensation package (based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity)•Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, and malpractice insurance•Retirement plan with employer contributions•CME allowance and paid professional dues/memberships•Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
