The position is for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist at a 127-bed Level III Trauma hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon, providing inpatient and outpatient cardiac care. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and echocardiograms, developing treatment plans, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role requires board certification in cardiology, strong communication skills, and adherence to medical and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:- Clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with shared call for Echo readings on weekends.
- Provide high-quality non-invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for a wide range of cardiac diseases.
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and conduct stress testing with adherence to high standards.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Contribute to community outreach efforts to critical access hospitals.
- Participate in physician meetings and contribute to policy development within the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines while documenting all patient care accurately.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Fellowship training in Cardiology.
- Clean malpractice history and background.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to team collaboration.
- Relevant certifications in Nuclear and Echo are highly preferred.
- Current Oregon medical license or the willingness to obtain one.
- DEA registration required prior to start.
- Copy of most recent NPDB self-query report within 30 to 60 days of the application.
