· Number of Beds -24
· Number of Staff – 80+
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 13 nurses and 1 secretary/tech
o Night Shift - 13 nurses 1 secretary/tech
· Patient Ratios – 1:1-3
· Type of equipment – Alaris Pumps, Pyxis, Baxter CRRT, Codman Drains, GE monitors, EV1000, artic sun,
· EMR -Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- 2 years experience
- NIHSS
- ACLS/BLS/Critical Care
- Ability to read Tele strips
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Neuro critical Care
· Travel Experience/Meditech Experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Bedside Tracheostomies
· Central Lines/Chest tubes/PEG tubes/a-lines/ventric/intubations
Best personality Fit:
· Easy going/flexible with assignments
· Treating coworkers like a second family
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
· Scrub Color - Royal Blue Scrubs
· No showing tattoos
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
· 2 RN foley insertion with patient note written who was present
· Daily CHG baths on all patients
· Attending present for all resident placed central lines/intubations/thoracentesis
