What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by location policies.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement.
- Prepare detailed and accurate written reports of incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives specific to the food and beverage industry environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications necessary for armed security-related duties at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
