Registered Nurse for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) providing immediate post-operative care, monitoring vitals, managing anesthesia recovery, administering medications, and educating patients/families. Requires an ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably 1 year in PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity settings; proficiency with electronic medical records and strong communication skills. Positions available full-time/part-time/per diem across day, night, and mid shifts with benefits and salary range $70,000–$100,000/year.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
- Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
