Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• RN to patient ratio of 5:1
• Must pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation with 90% passing score required
• Open book exam on skills learned with all necessary resources provided
• Float assignments to 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit
• Care for adult patients with small amount of pediatrics (1-5 pediatric patients per year)
• Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer
• Work with diverse population including African American culture and Korean speaking patients
• Navy scrubs required
• Epic electronic medical record system
• Alaris IV pumps
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
