Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 22

· Patient Ratios : 1:2-3

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : No US, no CNA, direct pt care

· Type of equipment : Ventilators, Artic Sun, Rapid infusers, CRRT machines. IV med pumps, SCD machines, Cooling blankets, Glucometers

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: Days – 4 weekend shifts, Nights – 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule

· Floating policy: Floats to all ICUs and IMC

· Patient Experience requirements: >2 yr in ICU level unit

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS/BLS

Requested Skill Set: Experience with vents, Hi-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, IV medications – Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, paralytics.

Advanced skills needed: TTM, hemodynamics, PA catheter,
