Full description
Looking for a gastroenterologist to join 1 other in outpatient practice; Current doctor is recruiting to expand the practice and pave the way for reducing his work week over the next five years. The new physician will be an employee. Offering partnership in both practice and surgery center; ERCP/EUS not required--although available at hospital. Base compensation will be between $350K-400K. With the defined benefit pension contribution first year basic compensation could rise to $450K. There is also a productivity incentive plan details below. Productivity will include 25% of all collections over $500K for the year (rolling 12 months) going to the new physician. The benefit plan includes: healthcare for doctor and family; CME funds; vacation; sick days; licensing fees; professional dues. The defined benefit pension, mentioned above, will total approximately $30K-$50K per year. Relocation and sign on bonus also negotiated. Call 1:4. 13,000 active records in the EMR. Current doctor does 20-23 cases per day during his three days per week at the surgery center. He does one day of follow up appointments at his office. The practice is referred 30-40 new cases per week. The payer mix is 50% Medicare/Medicaid; 40% private insurance, and 10% private pay.
