Position Specific Details
Emergency Room RN
Locals NOT accepted - local is considered 50 miles within facility. Proof of address required w/ submission
Dysrhythmia exam needed (study guide in Simplify library)
2 years of ED experience and some travel experience is required
EPIC experience very strongly preferred.
12hr shifts DAYS, every other weekend/major holiday required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Required, CPI OR De-escalation training required, Copy of nursing diploma required
Unit Specific Details
28 bed - 3 trauma bays
Very busy community ED all ages and medical complaints
Minimum daily trauma
MVA's, mass casualties, GSW, Stabbings, Stroke alerts, STEMI's
Ratios*: 1:4-5, FT normally up to 6
*Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing.
