Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg Telemetry position with night shifts and a NH or compact RN license requirement.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Cardiac Med/Surg D200 unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes cardiac medical/surgical cases with telemetry monitoring
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local candidates permitted; must live outside a 50-mile radius
- Responsibilities include monitoring and caring for cardiac medical/surgical patients using telemetry
- Holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs
- Applicants with previous permanent employment at this health system will not be considered
Requirements
- Active NH or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in cardiac med/surg or telemetry
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Two professional references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri, otherwise one reference
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
