The Electrophysiologist I performs diagnostic and intraoperative monitoring of the nervous system using techniques such as somatosensory evoked potentials, motor evoked potentials, and electromyography. They work closely with surgeons during complex neuro and spinal procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate data interpretation. This entry-level position requires a Bachelor's degree and offers opportunities for professional growth and certification preparation in a top-ranked hospital setting.

Role Purpose
Evaluates diagnostic and intraoperative monitoring of the nervous system, utilizing the following methods: somatosensory evoked potentials, motor evoked potentials and eletromyography - both triggered and spontaneous. Gain experience and CEUs in preparation for national certification examination (CNIM).
