Physicians are not required to remain in-house but must be within a 20-minute response time. Full-Scope OB/GYN Procedures: Handle all obstetric and gynecological cases, including deliveries (both vaginal and C-sections) and gynecological surgeries. Support Staff: Work with a dedicated medical assistant and a practice manager to ensure seamless patient care. Patient Volume: Expect to see 16-20 patients per day. This role does not require rounding or admissions. No NICU: The facility does not have a NICU, simplifying the scope of care during deliveries. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN. California State License: Active California medical license is required. Certifications: Candidates must hold current BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications. EMR System: Familiarity with Cerner is preferred but not required. Expedited Credentialing: Candidates must complete the Medical Staff Office (MSO) application within 3 days of confirmation, regardless of the start date.
