Responsibilities include performing approximately 50 surgical cases monthly with focus on emergency procedures such as appendectomies, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomies, and incision and drainage procedures. The surgeon will maintain board certification standards and provide independent surgical decision-making while coordinating with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure continuous patient care throughout the assignment periods.
