Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• 36 hours per week guaranteed for three 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for all ICU shifts, 1:2 for telemetry shifts
• Must have minimum 2 years CVU experience with hemodynamics knowledge
• Required to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for cardio-thoracic surgery patients, open heart patients, TAVR, post cath lab, and post cardiac surgery patients with telemetry
• Experience with cardiac assistive machines and EPIC charting system preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Must be able to float within cardiac units to meet facility needs
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in 6-week period (every other weekend)
• Travel experience required
• Required to work holidays as necessary
• Skills include arterial line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IABP, pulmonary artery line monitoring, ventilator management, pacemaker management, and CRRT
• Navy scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• Pending license accepted
• RTO restrictions: 7 days maximum

The facility maintains high standards for cardiac care with interdisciplinary support and utilizes EPIC charting system for comprehensive patient documentation.
