Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This opportunity is located at a prominent acute care hospital in Massachusetts. The candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, working alongside a robust support team and utilizing advanced medical technology. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care, including trauma and Fast Track care. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient treatment plans effectively. Utilize the EMR system, Epic, for patient charting and documentation. Participate in day, swing, night, and weekend shifts as required. Qualifications: Must be a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. Active Massachusetts Medical License is required. Possession of an active DEA license. Experience with a patient volume of 27,000 annually is preferred. Ability to perform all emergency medicine duties and procedures. Schedule: Coverage includes scheduled shifts with no on-call obligations. Shifts include day (8 hours), swing, and night duties. Compensation: Travel expenses will be covered.
