Opportunity:
RN - Observation Unit
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts in an 8-bed observation unit
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Float to all inpatient units as needed including IMC and CTU units
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• 36 hours of low census unbillable hours available per contract
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS highly preferred
• Must complete EKG exam during compliance
• Minimum 3 years experience and 1 travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre/post-op urology and GI cases
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average patient stays up to 48 hours
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
