Primary Care Adult Geriatric
Salary: $120,000 $175,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per week
(On-call phone coverage: 1 weekend every 5 weeks)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, community-focused primary care practice in Coeur d Alene, Idaho. This role is ideal for a provider who values patient-centered care, autonomy, and collaboration in a supportive clinical environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult and geriatric patients
Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with approved clinical protocols
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
Assess patient needs for referrals, diagnostics, or hospitalization
Perform minor procedures and in-house lab work as qualified
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and follow-up care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance evaluations
Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Active Idaho NP or PA license (required)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in primary care
BLS certification
DEA and Idaho Controlled Substance Registration
Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
Permanent job (full-time preferred; part-time options considered)
Work location: In-person, primary care office setting
