- Active RN license in New York State or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs in NY)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care
- Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record
