EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. RN license required. CPR required BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required. 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
Travel Experience Required.
Duties:
1. Assesses and Reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: 2. Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment i.e. -Cardiac Monitoring -Care of patients Pre/Post CABG -Care of patients Pre/Post Interventional Cardiac Procedures -Maintain/Pull sheaths -Angioseal/Vasoseal -Specialized medications/drips/Titration -ACT Machine -Sedation -Pain Management -Chest Tube care/insertion -TPN/PPN -KODA -Central Lines - IV therapy -IVADD -Infusion Therapy -Information Management -Boomerang
