HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a travel assignment in Statesboro, Georgia. This role provides diagnostic imaging services for inpatients and outpatients, focusing on evenings and weekends.
Assignment Details
Location: Statesboro, GA
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Shift: Evenings/Weekends only
Shift Times: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Friday–Sunday
Call: Required Sundays, 2:00 AM – 6:00 AM
EMR: Cerner
Unit: 2-bed unit
Patient Volume: 15–20 patients/day
Floating: Not required
Interview: Auto-offers only, no interviews
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1+ year as an Ultrasound Technician
Certifications:
ARDMS required
State licensure as a general radiographer or RDMS
Education: Graduate of an accredited AMA or ultrasound program
Responsibilities
Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms
Perform small parts scanning (thyroid, breast, scrotum)
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures: biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, aspirations
Follow departmental protocols and radiologist instructions
Provide timely diagnostic imaging services for inpatients and outpatients
