Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and BLS.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care MRI department
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM first shift schedule
- Potential for occasional off-hours or weekend call-ins for critical exams
- Uses GE MRI scanning system
- EMR system is Evident CPSI; also uses Epic and Philips PACS for imaging and charting
- Training provided on integrated PACS platforms
- Must be comfortable working independently in a small department
- Critical exam coverage may be required during evenings or weekends based on situations
- Training provided for PACS systems integration
- Scrub color requirements not specified
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- MRI modality licensure required if applicable
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Experience working independently in MRI
- Experience with GE MRI scanner preferred
